Shakespeare is a White Supremacist is a new work that explores the experiences of people of color as they move through the casting, rehearsal, and performance process of a Shakespearean piece. SWS takes a critical approach to understanding race in the context of classical theatre, and more broadly, the social and political atmosphere of performing arts communities.
